A view of still-active sugarcane fields through the perspective of historic slave cabins at Laura Plantation. Laura Plantation's tours are commendable for confronting the horrors of slavery more fully and directly than do some historic plantations.

Works are printed and mounted by the artist in his New Orleans studio with Canson Infinity's Platine Fibre Rag 310. This medium-heavy fine art paper features a wonderful textured semi-gloss ("lustre") finish which produces much richer colors and deeper blacks than a "matte" paper without the excessive sheen of a "glossy" paper.

Prints ship "flat" (not rolled), non-permanently mounted in white archival mat board. The Ellis logo watermark is not printed.
